Step 1: Enter the settings menu by clicking the wrench icon in the top right corner.
Step 2: Click the "Quality" option on the left column.
Step 3: Set "Internet Streaming" to Maximum, and check the "Play smaller videos at original quality" box. Note: Some Plex platforms might call it "Remote Streaming" instead of "Internet Streaming".

Plex has a few services that they try to push onto users, which includes their own ad-based movies/shows, live TV, music, podcasts, news, and web shows. I personally like to turn off all of them as it makes the interface much cleaner. Step 2: Click the "Online Media Sources" option on the left column.
Step 3: Turn off any services by clicking "Edit" and setting it to "Disabled". Note: The "Movies & TV" service is Plex's ad-based offering and can be disabled. You'll still have access to all the movies/shows on Jesseflix.

Yep! You can show nearly any type of grouping on the home page. Here's how you add recently released movies as an example:

Step 1: While on the Home screen, click the edit button and select "Disable (Manually Manage)".
Step 2: Click the "Movies" option on the left column.
Step 3: If you were brought to the Library screen, switch to the "Recommended" screen by choosing it at the top of the page.
Step 4: Hover your mouse near the "Recently Released Movies" header to reveal a plus icon. Click the icon to add the listing to your home screen.

Yep, all you need to do is click the edit icon on the home screen and (assuming you set the control to manual per the previous question) you can drag and drop the home screen items to change their order.

By default Plex encrypts the video streams, and recently this has caused issues with some devices. You can get around this by forcing videos to be streamed without encryption. Step 3: Find the "Allow Fallback to Insecure Connections" option and change it to "Always"
